Current Postgraduate Research Student Project:
- Workforce ageing: effects of employee age on determinants of work-related musculoskeletal injury and employee well-being.
- PhD research by Karen Munk, under the supervision of Wendy Macdonald and Owen Evans
Contract Research & Consultancy Projects:
- Mobility and Ageing: Impact of poor mobility on road trauma and health.
- The objectives of this research program are to assess the impact of:
- poor transport options and poor community mobility, particularly for older people no longer able to drive,
- on the level and cost of road trauma outcomes, and
- the level and cost of health outcomes.
- The project is funded by the RACV.
- Productive and Safe Workplaces for an Ageing Population.
- Development of the content of a booklet (of this name) for Comcare Australia, for use by Australian government departments and instrumentalities, and more widely as required.
