Current Postgraduate Research Student Project:
Workforce ageing: effects of employee age on determinants of work-related musculoskeletal injury and employee well-being.
PhD research by Karen Munk, under the supervision of Wendy Macdonald and Owen Evans
Contract Research & Consultancy Projects:
Mobility and Ageing: Impact of poor mobility on road trauma and health.
The objectives of this research program are to assess the impact of:
  • poor transport options and poor community mobility, particularly for older people no longer able to drive,
  • on the level and cost of road trauma outcomes, and
  • the level and cost of health outcomes.
The project is funded by the RACV.
Productive and Safe Workplaces for an Ageing Population.
Development of the content of a booklet (of this name) for Comcare Australia, for use by Australian government departments and instrumentalities, and more widely as required.
