High performance computing

Access to eResearch resources requires a project to be defined by the Lead Researcher. Project members can then be added to the project.

High Performance Computing Cluster

The e-Research Office, VPAC and ICT have installed a 24 node high performance computing cluster. The cluster is managed by ICT and VPAC, using the same programs that VPAC currently runs, along with specialised La Trobe applications.

Gaussian Server

Gaussian predicts the energies, molecular structures, and vibrational frequencies of molecular systems, along with numerous molecular properties derived from these basic computation types.

Molecular Science Compute Server

A number of servers are being managed in ICT on behalf of molecular sciences.

Other

If you have a server that should be managed in a proper Data Centre environment please contact us so that this can be arranged.
