  • (VPAC) Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing provides expertise, training and support in eResearch, Advanced Computing and professional R&D, including the application of Advanced Computing for academia, industry and government.
  • (VeRSI) Victorian eRsearch Strategic Initiative is an eResearch program funded by the Victorian Government to accelerate and coordinate the uptake of eResearch in universities, government departments and other research organisations. It is a collaborative, unincorporated, joint venture between Monash University, the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University and the Victorian Government's Department of Primary Industries.
  • (ANDS) Australian National Data Service aims to:
  • - influence national policy in the area of data management in the Australian research community
    - inform best practice for the curation of data
    - transform the disparate collections of research data around Australia into a cohesive collection of research resources.
  •  (ARCS) Australian Research Collaboration Service provides the research community with world-class tools and services that advance their research capabilities. Offering collaborative, flexible, leading-edge tools, ARCS is helping shape the future of Australia's national research infrastructure.
  •  NeCTAR's primary objectives are:
    - to enhance research collaboration and research outcomes by providing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) - infrastructure that creates new information centric research capabilities.
    - to significantly simplify the combining of instruments, data, computing, and analysis applications.
    - to enable the development of research workflows based on access to multiple resources.
  • RDSI (Research Data Storage Infrastructure) is a $50m federally funded project, for which UQ is the lead agent.
