Worklife Balance
La Trobe University is committed to a family friendly workplace and wants to ensure that managers and staff are able to develop workable plans to accommodate flexibility while ensuring the work gets done. The Equality and Diversity Centre has prepared three work life balance toolkits to help staff manage a better balance of work, family and life obligations.
These toolkits provide advice and assistance to managers and staff when working through a process of changing work arrangements. They offer guidance and advice on managing maternity leave, flexibile working arrangements to accommodate work and family responsibilities as well as a toolkit which discusses approaches to reducing work hours by job sharing, splitting positions and/or providing job support.
These PDF versions can be copied however some hard copies will be available from the Equality & Diversity Centre in early May.
