Women's register
The Australian Vice-Chancellors Committee (AVCC) maintains a Register of Senior University Women (RSUW) at all Australian Universities. To improve the representation of women whose experience and expertise could be more widely utilised in policy and decision-making positions, in 1995 the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee (AVCC) established a Register of senior university women within the higher education sector.
Although the Register does not provide extensive individual details (such as copies of curriculum vitae), it contains sufficient information to enable interested parties to locate senor university women with certain qualifications, experience, expertise for specific roles and responsibilities to facilitate such contact.
