Green purchasing

What is green purchasing?

Did you know that choosing copy paper made from a recycled fibre uses between 28 per cent and 70 per cent less energy, up to 50 percent less water than producing paper from virgin fibre and produces up to 90 percent less effluent? There are many other environmentally sustainable products available which will also reduce your office's impact on the natural environment.

Green purchasing is about choosing products with as minimal an impact on the environment as possible. It involves taking into account aspects such as the amount of packaging used for the product, where it is made and if there is a recyclable option available.
