Hooper Student Presentations

The 17th Annual Hooper* Memorial Engineering Student Project Presentation will take place on the afternoon of Friday 4th December 2009. The Colloquium consists of both oral and poster presentations by a selected number of final year undergraduate and Masters student design projects. Students select a project from one of our five Engineering streams: Biomedical, Communication, Electronic Systems, Sustainability in Energy Production or Optical.
This year, industry sponsored prizes will be awarded to the best oral and poster presentations, to the presentation of Technical Merit & Engineering Achievement, most innovative embedded system and excellence in PCB engineering and construction. We are pleased to acknowledge the contributions made to these prizes by EMCSI Pty Ltd, Future Fibre Technologies (FFT) Pty Ltd, the IEEE Victorian Section, Weller Soldering Tools, Soanar Plus, and Electronics News Magazine.
The main aim of this Colloquium is to provide a platform for the interaction of high achieving final year undergraduate and masters students with prospective employers, and to encourage collaboration between industry and the Department of Electronic Engineering at La Trobe.
