Research Programs
The Department offers two research degrees: the Master of Engineering (Research) and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) . In both cases the students undertake research under the guidance of a member of staff. The Department offers a wide range of research opportunities in the areas of;

The Master of Engineering takes nominally two years full-time (or part-time equivalent). The normal period of candidature for a PhD is three to four years full-time.
