Faculty of Education, BundooraStudent TravelThe University now requires all students proposing to travel overseas for study, research, conference attendance, or any other activity associated with their course of study, to inform the University of their plans and to secure permission from the Deputy Vice Chancellor's office 21 days before departure. To secure travel approval, students must supply written evidence of adequate insurance cover (private or University) for their total period of absence. (More detailed information is available on the Student Travel Forms). This ruling is designed to ensure that the University does not inadvertently place students at risk and that the University can contact students in case of emergency. It is also intended to clarify the insurance status of students absent from the University for study, research, conferences and the like. More information....
