Background:

Pam has worked in the information technology sector and more recently has lectured in universities and colleges in both England and Australia. Her areas of expertise include: the management of information technology, health informatics, information technology education, learning technologies, e-learning and teacher professional development in learning technologies.

Pam is currently teaching the postgraduate subjects in the School of Educational Studies:

• Using Multimedia for Learning
• Information and Communication Technology
• Learning Technologies in Education

In 2004 she is also teaching the Technologies and IT methods for the Primary Diploma of Education and the IT method for the Secondary Diploma of Education.

Research Interests:
Her research interests include: technological anxiety amongst students, complementing education with e-learning and teacher attitudes towards learning technologies.

Pam has managed an online project for Manchester Metropolitan University (UK) for a new Foundation degree to be delivered online.
