Background
Julie White lectures in research methodology, pedagogy and curriculum in the Faculty of Education at La Trobe University in
Bundoora. Her research interests are in narrative, creativity, performativity and contemporary qualitative research. Dr White
has an extensive background working as a teacher and curriculum consultant in most educational settings including primary,
secondary, technical, TAFE, special schools and intensive English language centres. She works on the editorial boards of 4 journals
and regularly reviews articles for several other journals. She currently supervises 8 PhD students, 3 EdD students and 6 Masters
students at La Trobe University and continues to supervise 3 PhD students at The University of Melbourne.
