Engaging Students in Science & Technology Using Mechatronics

Engaging Students in Science & Technology using Mechatronics is a Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) funded project and part of the Australian Schools Innovations in Science, Technology and Mathematics (ASISTM) initiative. This hands-on project aims to bring about new and improved teachers' approaches to teaching to motivate and engage students in learning traditionally 'dry' concepts in physics and programming. The project aims to excite and challenge students with investigative, design and construction tasks using Picaxe programmable resources.
