Faculty of Education, BundooraASISTM ProjectEmerging Sciences For Middle Year StudentsProfessional Development for teachers  Dr Chee-Kai Chan and Mr Philip Pawlowski provided professional development and workshops to teachers in the areas of biotechnology and picaxe-based robotics. NanoVic and St Helena SC provided flash-animated materials and workshops on nanotechnology. Further nanotechnology professional development was conducted on the year 6 visit day to La Trobe University for a nanotech day. Student teachers, as teacher associates helped develop curriculum materials for biotechnology and nanotechnology. PDAs were used to trial some of the materials.
