ASISTM Project

Emerging Sciences for Middle Year Students

Emerging Sciences for Middle Years Students is a Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) funded project and part of the Australian Schools Innovation in Science, Technology and Mathematics (ASISTM) initiative. It aims to introduce the teaching/learning of concepts in the emerging and thriving science areas of biotechnology, nanotechnology and Picaxe-microprocessor-based robotics in ways that are relevant to their everyday living to interest and enthuse years 5-9 students in learning science.
