Supporting Students With Special Needs - Professional Learning Experiences (PLEs)
Progress your career and build on your knowledge and experience in Special Education with our professional development courses.
Professional Learning Experiences (PLEs) are mini-conferences/seminars designed to provide professional development to staff to promote a school culture that is more responsive to the learning needs of students with diverse abilities.
Each PLE is equivalent to 10 hours professional development for VIT accreditation.
The PLEs would be beneficial in assisting principals and school administrators to make more informed and legally sound whole school decisions. The classroom teacher will develop a broad understanding of how to differentiate the curriculum for all students.
Seminars are held in a central city location at our city campus in Melbourne and in Shepparton.
Professional Learning Experiences include:
- Personalised learning and the differentiated curriculum.
Thursday 29 Sept 2016, 10am - 3pm (Shepparton).
- Whole school approaches to students with challenging behaviours.
Friday 30 Sept 2016, 10am - 3pm (Shepparton).
Cost of one session is $250.00. The seminars are held at the Shepparton Campus.
