Having made the decision to major in sociology, I researched the sociology departments of the universities in Australia and found La Trobe University had the most dedicated program in the country. The Education Program at La Trobe has also impressed me with the range of subjects and their innovative teaching practices.
The teaching staff are the best and most surprising aspect of studying at La Trobe. They are brilliant in their fields, friendly, and always willing to listen. I feel my time at La Trobe will really equip me with the right tools for a rewarding career in secondary school teaching.
