How to apply

Undergraduate

Australian citizens, Permanent Residents or New Zealand citizens should apply through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC). NSW students can apply through the Universities Admission Centre (UAC).

Some courses have extra requirements that need to be fulfilled. Please ensure that you are aware of these requirements which are available through the La Trobe University Find A Course site on the University homepage, for example Non Year 12 students applying for outdoor and environmental education are encouraged to complete a Supplementary Information Form.

Mature-Age

Mature age students may be required to submit an autobiographical essay, undertake a STAT multiple choice, STAT written English or sit a mathematics test. This will depend on which course/s are to be taken.

Postgraduate

Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents or New Zealand citizens should apply directly to the Faculty of Education for all postgraduate courses. Application forms for coursework and research degrees can be downloaded from the La Trobe University Postgraduate students page.

In addition to the La Trobe Application for Admission form, applicants of the Graduate Diploma in Outdoor and Environmental Education must also submit an Application Profile form (PDF 23KB).

International students

International students who are studying Year 12 in Australia should apply through VTAC.

All other international applicants must apply directly to La Trobe University. Visit La Trobe International for more information for further information.
