Teaching is a unique profession, as every person at some stage in their life has been supported or encouraged by a teacher. But do you really know what teachers do, where teachers work, and what kind of teachers there are?
Where do teachers work ?
Teachers work in many different types of schools and educational settings including:
- primary schools (Prep to Year 6);
- secondary schools (Year 7 to 12);
- middle years schools (Year 5-9
- P-10/12 schools (Prep to Year 10/12);

- special schools;
- hospital schools;
- schools of distance education and school of the air;
