If you hold a TAFE qualification in a related field of study , the Faculty of Education will consider this and provide you with the opportunity to fast track your undergraduate degree. Students who normally have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma and in some instances Certificate IV programs, will be eligible for advanced standing. This will mean that you will not be required to study selected units and you will complete your degree faster.

In some cases the TAFE qualification needs to be completed to be considered, and in other situations a partial completion may be sufficient.

Applying for Advanced Standing

Applications for credit can be made at anytime, even after you have started at the University. However, it's a good idea to know what you have to study at University before you begin. You can obtain Applicant for Advanced Standing online.
