- This course provides an opportunity for teachers and other professionals to further their professional development in general educational studies. It provides a fourth-year qualification for teachers with three years' training, or a qualification in education for nurses or other professionals who want to pursue studies in professional education related to their own environment. It is also a pathway to Master's-level study (satisfying requirements for the first year).
For people involved in teaching at any level, this is a teacher development course. It may either add a specialist qualification for teachers who are already registered or lead to further study opportunities in the broad field of education. It is not a professional-entry course. - Prerequisite

- This course promotes an inclusive concept of special education, along with the traditional area of the effective and equitable education of students with disabilities, impairments, and other special education needs. It is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills in all areas of special education, ranging from students at risk to family and school relationships to communication systems and emerging technologies and intervention programs.
