Brief Profile
Alison has lectured in teacher education, outdoor environmental education, and physical & health education since 1994 at La Trobe University, the University of Melbourne and the University of Edinburgh. During this time she has taught at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, supervised Honours and Masters student theses and coordinated units and a Graduate Diploma in Outdoor Education course. Alison has worked with colleagues on several research projects and has published journal and conference papers mainly in the areas of outdoor and environmental education and sustainability literacy. In early 2009 she received a scholarship to undertake full time PhD study so she is currently studing full time and also teaching for one day per week.
