Presentation style video

A Presentation video can be considered to have 3 main design styles.

  • Presentation Only - for example, a voice over PowerPoint (screencapture) that does not include video of the narrator.
  • Presenter and Presentation - for example, a video where both the presenter and the image accompaniment is seen.
  • Presenter Only - for example, a speaker talking directly to the camera without any additional image accompaniment.

Key things to consider when determining what style of presentation video best suits your needs are

  • Do you need to physically appear in the video? If so, then maybe using the One Button Studio will best suit your purposes, if not, then possibly screencapture with Echo360 will suffice.
  • What recording locations are best suitable to your presentation style? Is your office too noisey? Do you need to be located at a particular setting like a laboratory or alternatively, can complete the recording from your home?

These choices will influence the style of presentation and the location for the recording.

Use the following guide to help you determine what Recording Environment would best match your chosen Recording Style.
