Research information for students

Our research has been rated 'at world standard' in the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) assessment recently conducted by the Australian Research Council. We have a diverse research program in economics and finance, including asset pricing and investment, corporate finance and governance, financial market microstructure and information, and financial econometrics and quantitative finance. Our academic staff members often publish influential papers with high impact in leading journals. We offer active Honours and PhD programs with our academic members available for PhD supervision in their respective research fields.

Our strong research focus and industry experience has enabled us to successfully develop and offer a range of postgraduate coursework degrees. Our highly popular Master of Financial Analysis provides a comprehensive coverage of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) curriculum and industry-linked subjects, with specializations in financial planning, financial risk management, and investment, along with double degrees with Business Administration, International Business, and Accounting.
