Brief profile

László gained a MA in economics and econometrics from the Budapest University in 1983, and completed his PhD at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 1991. He was a research fellow at the Institute of Economics in Budapest before joining the Econometrics Department of La Trobe University in 1991. From 1996 to 2003 he held a position as lecturer at Victoria University, School of Applied Economics. In 2003 he returned to La Trobe University and took up a lectureship at the Department of Economics and Finance.
