Brief profile
Chrismin Tang obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at the University of Melbourne and is currently a Lecturer at the La Trobe University and a Research Associate of the Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) at the Australian National University. Prior to her lectureship appointment, she was an economist in the Macroeconomic Surveillance Department at the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Chrismin has recently held visiting research fellow positions at the Australian National University and the University of Melbourne, where she collaborated with fellow chief investigators on research projects funded by the nationally competitive Australian Research Council Discovery Grant. Her current research interests include financial market crises and contagion, risk diversification and financial stability, with publications in the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, working papers at IMF and CAMA as well as chapter contributions to books published by Oxford University Press and John Wiley and Sons.
