La Trobe University graduates qualified in the area of Ecology and Resource Management have established successful careers in Australia and overseas in private environmental consultancies, state and federal land management agencies (e.g. DSE, DPI, Catchment Management Authorities), as well as the non-government conservation sector (e.g. Birds Australia, Trust for Nature). Some have chosen to complete a further teaching qualification and have begun educating the next generation of ecologists and environmental scientists in our primary and secondary schools.
