Architecture: The Collaborative Approach
The role of enterprise architecture is to describe an organisation’s activities, applications, information and data, and the technologies and infrastructure used to deliver the applications and information. Using all of this information, we can more effectively support strategic planning and provide valuable guidance in solution selection and implementation. But how can we simplify the collection and management of all of this architecture information, when there are many stakeholders , organisational units, applications and databases involved? How do we make such information easily accessible? This presentation will demonstrate the collaborative approach to strategy and architecture taken at the University of Sydney. |
