Burning a CD on a PC
- Browse to the file you wish to burn to CD

- Right Click on the files you wish to burn and select Copy

- Open My Computer from the desktop and open the DVD-RW or CD-RW drive

- Paste the files here on this drive: or alternatively you can drag and drop from your other window.

- Once you have all the files pasted, make sure all the files are unselected and then right click in a white space. Select "Write these files to CD"

- Enter a name for your CD. E.g.; "My Backup CD"

- Eject your CD tray and place you blank CD into the tray. Then in the CD burning wizard hit Next

- The burning process will start. This may take a few minutes.

- When the burn is complete the CD will automatically eject and the wizard will inform you that it has finished and ask you to finish.

- Make sure you clearly label the CD with a permanent texta and it is sometimes a good idea to label it with the date it was burnt.
**Note: The files that are copied onto the CD are temporarily stored on your hard drive so make sure you have enough space to accommodate up to 700mb for CD’s. These temporary files are removed once the CD burning Wizard completes successfully.
