Mr Martin FussellMartin is coordinator of first year Chemistry and Geology. He is responsible for delivery of all lectures and practical sessions in geology (DYN11 and ERS12. He also delivers the Basic Chemistry course to new students and organic, environmental and biological chemistry to first year students in General and Applied chemistry. Martin's current research projects involve determining the quantity of Murrumbidgee river water that is recharging into the groundwater aquifers along the river between Collingullie and Narrandera. This has implications for the extraction of underground water for irrigation. He is also working on a local community project to determine the change to the amount of runoff in Bungambrawatha creek in Albury due to urbanisation. This has implications for the possibility of storing some runoff for purification and recycling within Albury. Academic qualities: BSc, DipEd(Newcastle, NSW) BSc Hons (LaTrobe)
