The Alpine Ecology Course 2010

This is an opportunity to learn about the plants, animals, landforms and soils that make up alpine ecosystems, in the context of land use and conservation issues. The emphasis is on practical demonstration and field experience. Most sessions are conducted in the field in small groups. A formal knowledge of botany, zoology or geology is not required - each session provides the basic knowledge needed to understand the topic.

Shared accommodation with en-suite bathrooms

Course Fee:

(includes accommodation, meals, instruction and course notes):

- if paid by organisation or business: $1350 including GST

- if paid by individual: $1100 including GST

Applications due by Friday 13 November 2009, with deposit of $275

Balance of Course Fee due by Monday 4 January 2010

The course is limited to 30 participants, who are selected according to occupation, background and location.

Please note : many places at the course will be allocated to those enrolled in 2009 course, which was cancelled because of bushfires.
