6th Annual Water Forum

water imageUncertainty, Change and Adaptive Water Management

La Trobe University, North East Water and The Murray-Darling Freshwater Research Centre present the 6th Annual Water Forum.

The prospect of modified water availability through climate change and shifting community preferences about how water should be used is real.

In such an uncertain world it makes sense to think about adaptation and the processes of managing change. But what does adaptation and change mean for the different sectors that use water?

The 2013 Water Forum will focus on uncertainty, adaption and change. As with previous events the Forum will be divided into separate strands of interest but will also provide ample opportunity to explore general public policy challenges.

Importantly, the Forum will continue to bring together high-calibre experts to explore the underlying themes that relate to each of these areas of water management.
