Introduction to LMS
This workshop incorporates elements of the LMS Workshops 1, 2 and 3 and will provide you with sufficient training to augment your teaching using the tools provided in the La Trobe University template.
At the conclusion of this workshop, you will:
- be familiar with a number of LMS terms
- understand the different capabilities of the Build, Teach and Student tabs
- recognise different online communications tools and how to use them to engage students in discussion or one-to-one dialogue
- be capable of organising some tools to suit their teaching requirements
- be able to upload files into the File Manager and create links to those files using LMS tools
Prerequisites:
- Participants should be familiar with computers and the use of a keyboard and a mouse.
- Participants should have some experience using Web browsers such as Internet Explorer.
