Lecture-theatre AV training
Training sessions are held at the beginning of semester for staff to learn how to confidently operate the University's AV and videoconferencing systems.
- Introduction to AV presentations
This session provides training in the use and operation of venue-specific Audio-Visual (AV) equipment. The purpose of the training session is to develop the participants' confidence in the effective use of AV equipment. This session is particularly relevant to new staff and staff who are new to recently upgraded lecture venues. This small-group interactive training session will focus on the use of AV equipment for lecture presentation and recording (Lectopia system). Participants will gain some brief, hands-on experience. - Introduction to videoconferencing
This session provides training in the use and operation of venue-specific Audio-Visual (AV) equipment with a particular focus on videoconferencing. It is particularly relevant to new staff and staff who are new to videoconferencing. This small-group interactive training session will focus on the use of AV equipment for videoconference lecture presentation and recording (Lectopia system). Participants will develop good practice techniques for conducting videoconference teaching. - AV- Advanced training
This session provides comprehensive training in troubleshooting AV difficulties. The purpose of the training session is to develop the participants’ confidence in the effective use of AV equipment.
