About DfL

Design for Learning (DfL) is the name we've given to our comprehensive, ambitious commitment to review and redesign the undergraduate curricula across the entire University. It is a multi-year project, where the reviewed and redesigned first year curricula is scheduled for implementation from 2012 with the second and third year curricula scheduled for implementation in 2013, and 2014.

It is one of the most far-reaching curriculum renewal projects in Australian higher education currently and probably at any time. Design for Learning involves not only reviewing and redesigning the structures and elements of the curriculum, but also rethinking and redesigning the way we teach, assess, give feedback, and provide academic support for the success of all undergraduates.
