The Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Colloquium will provide valuable opportunities to meet and learn from colleagues across the university, reflect on teaching and learning, and engage in discussions about curriculum renewal and design.

Colloquium highlights:
- Professor Belinda Probert will provide an overview of the planned consultation process for Design for Learning (DfL) project implementation
- Members of the Design for Learning Working Groups will lead faculty-focussed discussions of DfL recommendations, guidelines and policies
- Fifty-one La Trobe staff will present or co-present twenty-one interactive and engaging sessions on topics such as approaches to assessment, engaging students in learning, workplace learning, curriculum design, enquiry-based learning, and improving graduate capabilities
- Three provocative panel sessions will offer insights and generate debate about the relationships between teaching and research, the quality of first-year students’ experiences, and lessons learnt from the 2009 curriculum pilot projects
- The Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Johnson, will announce the recipients of this year’s VC’s Award.
Post-Colloquium Workshops
Half-day workshops will be held on Monday 7 December to support staff prepare for activities associated with the Design for Learning implementation. The following table lists the workshops that have currently been accepted into the program.
Full details of each workshop and details on how to register will be made available on Monday 23 November.

Webcast
A live webcast of all sessions held in the Chamber will be broadcast from the this website. Staff viewing the webcast will be able to watch the presentation and PowerPoint slides simultaneously and can submit questions to the presenter via the live chat function.
