About us
The Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Centre (CTLC) supports and assists La Trobe University’s academic staff and managers in promoting effective, high quality student learning and academic success.
To achieve those ends, the CTLC provides research-based professional development, consultation, resources and support on curriculum design and development, teaching practice, online and flexible learning and teaching, and other related issues. The CTLC is also responsible for the University’s systems for formative and summative evaluation of teaching and curriculum, orientation and preparation of tutors and new academic staff, and the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching and Learning.
The CTLC’s Director is Professor Tom Angelo, who also serves as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Curriculum and Academic Planning). The Centre is part of the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Belinda Probert.
