About CTLC
The Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Centre (CTLC) supports and assists La Trobe University’s academic staff and managers in promoting effective, high quality student learning and academic success.
To achieve those ends, the CTLC provides staff with research-based professional development, consultation, resources and support on curriculum design and development, teaching practice, online and flexible learning and teaching, and other related issues. The CTLC is also responsible for the University's orientation and preparation of casual Tutors and Demonstrators and new academic staff, the Effective Teaching for Higher Learning workshops, and the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching and Learning.
The Acting Director of the CTLC is Dr Ric Canale. The Centre is part of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic).
