Professor Jane Hamilton is a Professor of Accounting in the Regional School of Business at La Trobe University's Bendigo campus. Dr Hamilton's work and research interests are in the areas of financial accounting and auditing, and corporate governance.

A recent highlight of Dr Hamilton's publication record is the acceptance of a paper for the November 2008 edition of The Accounting Review. She has published ten other works, five of which are papers or book chapters in refereed publications and over the past ten years, she has delivered fifteen conference papers, eleven of which were presented at refereed conferences.

Dr Hamilton's current research projects include investigating the changing role of accountants in corporate sustainability reporting and the role of external auditors in providing assurance statements for greenhouse gas emission reports under the NGER Act and the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme... more info...
