Susan Brumby is currently undertaking her doctoral studies, titled: Farm Work and Family Health: A Study on Farming Family Health across Selected Agricultural Industries in Australia. She is exploring the attitudes towards health, well being and safety of farming families.
This research investigates a farming family program and the development, implementation and evaluation of interventions to protect, enhance health and well being and safety for farmers and farming families.
The inquiries will work from the health promotion, OH & S, extension and social science disciplines and explore the relationship between agriculture industries, interventions and the changes in farming family health outcomes and attitudes.
