The John Richards Initiative at La Trobe University Wodonga is conducting a research project exploring how rural communities and local agencies are managing and responding to challenges posed by local population ageing through systems of governance and health/social infrastructure.
The study will look at effective models/approaches in terms of older residents’ needs, and gaps in infrastructure and services. The research has been funded by La Trobe University, the Victorian Department for Planning and Community Development, the City of Greater Bendigo, Moira Healthcare Alliance and Moira Shire Council.
