Research Title/Topic: Improve Skyline Queries in Uncertain Data Warehouses

Description:
Recently, there has been much interest in processing uncertain data and answering queries on uncertain data for various applications including decision making, search pruning, and personalized services. Skyline queries have been used to prune search spaces on multidimensional data items to a small set of interesting items by eliminating items that are dominated by others. Existing skyline algorithms assume that all dimensions are available for all data items. This research will go beyond this restrictive assumption and investigate the high quality resultant queries in uncertain data warehouses that aggregated data in data warehouses may not be accurate and complete. The purpose of the research will provide efficient and effective algorithms with optimal techniques to improve the Skyline queries on uncertain data warehouses.
