International - Application Procedure

International students applying for entry to an undergraduate course at the University
must hold qualifications, which are deemed equivalent to an Australian Year 12 High School
Certificate. Credit may be available for previous tertiary studies. Students are invited
to apply for admission to undergraduate courses with assistance from our worldwide network
of overseas representatives. Services offered by our representatives include assistance with
course applications, documentation verification, pre-visa assessment (if necessary, visa
applications – as well as pre-departure assistance including airport reception and
accommodation bookings. Students may also choose to apply directly to the La Trobe University
International Programs Office.

You must allow a minimum of four weeks to obtain your student visa and make your
travel arrangements. If you already have a student visa, you can apply for entry to
semester one course until mid-January. If you do not have a student visa, you should
apply by December at the latest.

| Course Commencement Dates |
|
Most students commence studies in late February or early March each year. However,
some courses are available for mid-year entry in July or at other times.
