Visiting scholars

Visiting PhD student I Wayan Budiarta (Udayana University, Bali) speaks at the CRLD seminar series.

If you are a scholar from another university who does research on language description or typological issues, or in any of the areas linked to the Linguistics Discipline Research Program, we encourage you to consider spending your sabbatical at the Centre.

You will be a part of a vibrant linguistic community and have access to the university library and facilities, including printers and email.

La Trobe House and Apartments are located in nearby buildings. Visitors can book these comfortable apartments and units through the CRLD for short or medium-term stays.

In addition, funding from the Linguistics Discipline Research Program enables us to support short visits from scholars of high international standing.

Please email us at language.diversity@latrobe.edu.au to discuss how to come work with us.
