Why study Educational studies?
We offer professional development and career enhancement as well as a pathway to Masters programs for those working in educational environments. Subject areas include classroom management, curriculum and pedagogy, student welfare, science education, mathematics education, literacy education, cultural studies, information and communication technology, applied learning principles, leadership and educational management. For academic staff teaching in higher education, we offer enhanced teaching skills and an understanding of educational processes appropriate to teaching and learning in higher education.

Career opportunities depend on the course selected. Roles include leading teacher, educational management consultant, teacher in adult and community education, specialist practitioner consultant, policy and planning officer, education officer, school principal, vice-principal and lecturer/tutor.
