Your study experience

Research - what to expect

Rehabilitation research by academic staff is coordinated through the Rehabilitation Research and Training Unit. Current projects include preventable factors associated with job loss following traumatic spinal cord injury and the role of social support in predicting rehabilitation outcomes. Our research program focuses on the development of a model of factors involved in the successful return to work and community integration following disabling injury. Most research has been within the traumatic spinal cord injury population.

Finding a supervisor

One of the most important aspects of your research study will be finding a supervisor in Rehabilitation counselling.

Overseas study opportunities

You may be eligible for our student exchange program.
