Photojournalism
Why do a short course in Photojournalism?
There are 6 Photojournalism units in the Bachelor of Visual Arts Degree, offered 100% online. Each unit can be studied as part of a degree by students enrolled at any campus or as a single subject by students outside of La Trobe University.
These popular units introduce you to ideas across a broad range of photographic concepts, including The Decisive Moment, Environmental Portraits, Uprating ISO, Ethics, The Photo Essay, Landscape and, of course, Documentary across many subjects and locations.
Studying a single subject lets you:
- Find other ways into a degree course
- Update your professional knowledge
- Follow a personal interest.
While there is no guarantee of entry into a degree, many students have used successfully completed single subjects as the basis for entry. You may also be eligible for credit for the subjects you successfully complete.
