Our Media Studies and Journalism teaching staff have been recruited from professional media and academic backgrounds to ensure that the program offers students a comprehensive balance of theory and practice. We are currently involved in local and international research projects in the fields of media policy, textual analysis, documentary production, audience research, journalism, and screen writing and production.

Media studies placements

Available to students enrolled in Master by Coursework. In MST5JIN students will develop contacts with, and work in, a media organisation. Students will develop an understanding of issues internal to the organisation such as its goals, structure, management and work practices.

Overseas study opportunities
