The Master of Management degree is developed for students seeking to develop a career in management or leadership. Starting with the core foundation knowledge required of all managers whatever the context, the course then goes on to provide the opportunity for students to develop knowledge in more specialised areas of management or to maintain a more general orientation in their studies.

The degree brings together students from a diverse mix of academic backgrounds ranging from engineering, humanities and science to management in a way that facilitates dynamic multidisciplinary innovation and exchange of ideas.

The primary objective of the course is to equip students with the tools and skills necessary to develop ideas, to lead and to manage organisational activities across corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors, and in small, medium, and large scale enterprises.

This course offers opportunities for an independent research thesis project.

The course requires the completion of 16 subjects totalling 240 credit points. First year consists of eight core subjects while second year consists of eight elective subjects.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of an Australian undergraduate degree or an approved international equivalent. Applicants without an undergraduate degree but with 5 or more years of relevant work experience may be considered for entry on an individual basis.
