Your study experience
Research – what to expect
Students can undertake health promotion research projects as part of coursework degrees in the Master of Public Health or the Master of Health Sciences. These are small projects but they require students to work through the phases of a research project from definition of the research topic, designing the projects conducting and writing the formal thesis. In research masters or doctoral level studies students work through the same processes but on projects that are more complex and on a larger scale. In all research projects students work with a supervisor who has responsibility for guiding them through the processes appropriate for their study..
Finding a supervisor
One of the most important aspects of your research study will be finding a supervisor in Health promotion.
Overseas study opportunities
You may be eligible for our student exchange program.
