Health policy

Why study Health policy?

Our postgraduate courses are for students with an interest in health policy, those considering a career shift to a policy area or those whose work requires policy analysis skills and knowledge. The courses deal with the changing contexts of policy-making, and analyse current policy using a problem-oriented approach to strengthen your ability to  participate in policy making and policy advocacy.      A background in the health system is useful but not essential for entry to our health policy courses.

Career opportunities

The courses allow specialisation for work in health policy development and analysis in public service departments, public health care agencies, international bodies and also in the commercial sector.
